Introduces the student to the field of dental assisting. Focuses on the history of dentistry, prevention, anatomy, histology and physiology of the head, neck and body system as they relate to dentistry. The laboratory component will include observation of a work dental office and use of computers for employability skills. Note(s) 15 theory + 150 lab hours
