Integrates topics from basic mathematics, geometry and and algebra. Helps prepare students to enter programs in the School of Business & Information Technology, the School of Applied Technologies, the School of Health Wellness & Public Safety or MATH 0930. This course is typically offered in three different formats. Collaborative is a traditional/lecture style class that incorporates lecture, individual and group work and individual and group projects. In the Self-paced format, students work at their own pace to move through the material. Self-paced courses are open entry/open exit and are listed in the Schedule of Classes with the note (!!). In the Project-Based format, students use projects to reinforce the objectives for the course. Students will work in groups on projects that cover each of the topics required for completion of the class. Note(s) 45 theory + 15 lab hours
