Topics covered in this course include basic principles of substantive New Mexico criminal law including criminal procedures and laws of arrest, civil laws, liquor laws, Indian country law, juvenile law, hate crimes, elements of crimes against persons, property, public order, public morality, defenses to crimes, and parties to crime.
