This course will be taught as a Hybrid (Blackboard) course which will require students to complete weekly tasks on the Internet. This course will provide students with the tools necessary to evaluate burn patterns as they relate to wildland fuels. Students will gain knowledge in fuel categories and their consumption level relating to species found in the Southwest. Furthermore, students will also explore fire mitigation tools as a resource to reduce and eliminate overcrowding, non-native species, and invasive species. Note(s)
