What is the Self-Study Math Course?

What is the Goal? How to Access
  • The Accuplacer Self-Study Math Course (Online Classroom) is a place where students can go and practice some basic skills to prepare to take or retake the Accuplacer exam.
  • Currently, the Self-Study Math Course contains modules on all operations involving Whole Numbers, Decimals, Fraction operations, Ratio & Proportions and Percents.
  • There is no cost to sign up and work on the material in the Self-Study Math Course.
  • Students will not earn any institution credits for the work they do.
  • The goal is to help students build up their skills in basic math to prepare them to test higher on the Accuplacer exam.
  • It contains videos, readings and practice problems that can be done with unlimited tries.  It is designed so students do not have to do the material they feel confident with.
  • Students can move around and work on topics they don’t feel as confident in (for example, adding or dividing whole numbers).
