3credit hour(s)Pre- or corequisite:DA 1512 + DA 2508 + DA 2510 +(ENGL 1110 + ENGL 1110P) Provides students with the clinical practice in external dental facilities to utilize four-handed dental assisting techniques and expanded functions allowed by the New Mexico Dental Practice Act, with seminars to discuss the student’s clinical experience. This course further prepares the student to take the Dental Assistant National Board (DANB) Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) Exam, and the New Mexico State Dental Assistant Jurisprudence exam.
