4credit hour(s)Corequisite:PSD 1002 Builds on the foundation of PSD 1002 and provides students with specific knowledge and skills to professionally handle crisis intervention/management and emergency and non-emergency calls in the public safety environment. Special topics include National Crime Information Center operations, fire and medical communications and critical incident management. This course provides advanced competency as a public safety telecommunicator as outlined by the New Mexico Department of Public Safety training standards.
