Pre- or corequisite:MEMS 1002. Focuses on Microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) and covers how these tiny devices are fabricated, and designed,. Hands-on activities will include using state-of-the-art microsystems design software and cleanroom safety and protocol lessons. Students will learn and apply principals in an actual cleanroom activity (UNM’s MTTC Cleanroom). No books required, all is provided online and includes reading, animations, and streaming lecture educational materials.
