3credit hour(s)Prerequisite:CIS 1425. Configure routers, other layer 3 devices and their associated protocols in different network scenarios. Prepares students for the Cisco Certified Networking Associate certification.

This course has an additional course fee that covers the cost of the certification voucher for Cisco ICND1 exam. This exam is the final for the course, and must be taken at a certified testing center (such as CNM’s Workforce Training Center).
Successful completion of both the ICND1 and ICND2 exams constitute the Cisco CCNA.
Due to the rigor of the exams, students are discouraged from taking two CIS courses with certification exams in the same semester.
