Students will study the fundamentals of light-duty diesel service through hands-on and lecture instruction. The courses include Introduction to Light-Duty Vehicles, Light-Duty Diesel Brake Systems, Light-Duty Diesel Steering and Alignment, and Light-Duty Diesel Electrical Systems. Light-duty diesel service fundamentals graduates will be eligible for entry-level positions focused on under-vehicle service and repair. Students are encouraged to continue their education in automotive service, diesel equipment service, or electric vehicle service.
