A review in IPEDs of NM market institutions determined that the two primary codes used in NM are 15.0000 (Engineering Technology, General) and 15.0303 (Electrical/Communications Engineering Technology). Discussions with Sandia, LANL and other workforce partners has determined a high interest in students with skills and credentials unique from electrical trades or our transfer engineering program. Workforce and Community Success discussions with these community partners have indicated a potential for over 1000 jobs in the upcoming years.
