The Theatre program teaches acting for the stage and camera, technical theatre, costuming, screenwriting, voice and movement, production practicums, and ensemble improvisation. Earn an Associate of Arts and pursue work as an theatre artist, theatre educator, and more.

Educational Opportunities

Students who graduate with an AA in theatre at CNM can move on to four-year programs at any University in New Mexico or elsewhere.

Many of the courses in this program are transferable and some may be applied to four-year degree programs at other institutions. CNM currently has transfer agreements with many colleges and universities in New Mexico and elsewhere.
