School of Applied Technology (AT)
Solar Electric Certificate of Achievement provides students the opportunity to gain knowledge and technical skills needed to enter and explore possible careers in the field of Solar Electric (Photovoltaic). Students receive an overview of residential, commercial, large commercial, and industrial systems. Students will learn how solar electricity is created and how to achieve the best production. There is an emphasis on code compliant design, installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance practices.

Physical Requirements
The moving and installation of electrical materials and equipment necessitate that the worker be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
