Business, Associate of Arts


School of Business & Information Technology (BIT)

This Associate of Arts degree is designed to substantially fulfill the freshman and sophomore course requirements for admission to bachelor’s degree programs in business at New Mexico colleges and universities; the degree’s general education curriculum is accepted for transfer toward the general education core. Students should communicate with the School of Business & Information Technology associate dean or program chairs as well as with admissions advisors at the college or university where they plan to complete the bachelor’s degree. Courses taken with the credit/no credit option, transfer credits and non-traditional credits that have been accepted by CNM may not be accepted by the transfer institution. Many four-year institutions have minimum grade point average requirements for admission as well as a requirement that all coursework be completed with grades of C or better.
