Upon successful completion of the program, the students will be able to:

1. Demonstrate the correct use of sterilization process monitors for all sterilizers  
2. Describe how anatomy and physiology, microbiology, and infection control relate to the work performed in Central Supply and Sterile Processing Departments
3. Describe proper stock rotation mechanisms and the importance of a well-managed inventory system
4. Describe the functions of Central Supply and Sterile Processing Departments
5. Describe the functions performed within the decontamination and sterile instrument room
