Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:

1. Employ therapeutic communication skills when practicing with peers and applies this communication technique while performing client care in the clinical setting.
2. Communicate effectively using verbal, non-verbal, electronic and written techniques.
3. Perform patient care technician skills and duties competently.
