Upon successful completion of this program, the students will be able to:
Employ critical thinking skills to judge the validity of information from scientific, spatial, and social perspectives and communicate the results of quantitative and qualitative geographic inquiry.
Analyze real-world problems in the context of human-environmental relationships and interactions and communicate results in both written and oral forms.
Describe how human behaviors and social structures are reflected in both the built and natural environments and how diverse social and cultural behaviors create varied landscapes.
Utilize geographic tools (maps, mapping software, instruments, etc.) that support theoretical spatial concepts and methodologies.
Perform laboratory related calculations and data analysis, using basic computational, graphic, and mapping technologies.
