Upon successful completion of this program, the students will be able to:
Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered, and culturally appropriate practical nursing (PN) care that is across the lifespan for individuals, families, and communities.
Engage in effective interprofessional collaboration in the delivery of healthcare for quality outcomes.
Identify situations that require knowledge or actions beyond individual scope of PN practice to provide safe, quality care and seek assistance from members of the health care team as appropriate.
Advocate for the PN’s unique role contributing to equal access to safe, high quality, and affordable health care within healthcare organizations and systems.
Utilize technologies in the management of information and the delivery of patient care.
