Residential Carpentry, Certificate of Completion

Upon successful completion of this program the students will be able to:

1. Demonstrate workplace safety by following OSHA guidelines in the lab and live construction site environments.
2. Experience techniques used in forming, pouring and finishing concrete foundations & footings.
3. Frame wall structures and erect roofing structures/systems
4. Install windows and interior/exterior doors.
5. Install, tape, bed and texture drywall surfaces.
6. Read and interpret construction blueprints
