Cosmetology, Associate of Applied Science

Upon successful completion of this program, the students will be able to:

1. Practice skills through client service and self-directed assignments. 
2. Demonstrate manicuring and pedicuring skills, including client consultation, protection and safety.
3. Develop and demonstrate skills in skin care, facials and client recommendations.
4. Establish patterns of client communicatin that lead to client retention.
5. Identify and work with designated salon representative in close observing and aiding with salon skills/ discipline.
6. Complete an observation paper that includes the retail portion of the business salon industry.
