Upon successful completion of this program, the students will be able to:
Document a minimum of 40 hours of UAS flight time.
Implement Crew Resource Management (CRM) as a routine component of UAS operations.
Discuss the regulatory environment and licensing issues affecting UAS operations as prescibed by the FAA, State, and Local Government.
Demonstrate the ability to implement a UAS mission in accordance with safe-flight standards.
Integrate UAS data into a Geographic Information System for analysis.
Analyze data collected using Unmanned Aircraft Systems to meet project goals for high-precision measurement, mapping, and other construction-related applications.
Demonstrate an understanding of the operational requirements of fixed and rotary-wing aircraft.
