Upon successful completion of this program, the students will be able to:
1. Identify social problems and inequities within communities, groups, systems, and structures.
2. Describe how sociological theories explain connections between individual experiences and broader social systems and structures.
3. Explain how theories and assertions are informed by research and data.
4. Describe practical steps to support equitable social structures and/or create positive social change.
5. Communicate the applicability of sociological research and concepts within various social, educational, and/or career contexts to diverse audiences.
