Upon successful completion of this program, the students will be able to:

1. Identify social problems and inequalities within the criminal justice system.
2. Describe how sociological theories explain criminal patterns and the structural contexts of crime.
3. Explain how theories and assertions are informed by research and data 
4. Describe practical steps to support more equitable criminal justice outcomes.

5. Communicate the applicability of criminology research and concepts within various social, educational, and/or career contexts to diverse audiences.
