Description

This is a two-year degree intended for students pursuing professional acting careers or continuing on to a university to complete a bachelor’s degree in Theatre.

Career and Educational Opportunities

Students will be able to transfer to a bachelor’s degree program in Theatre.

Many of our courses are transferable to four-year degree programs, and CNM currently has transfer agreements with many colleges and universities in New Mexico and elsewhere.

 

Students gaining skill sets through the Theatre coursework will have opportunities to work in local theatres or pursue acting careers in the growing film industry in New Mexico.

Students must demonstrate proficiency in these areas either by placement exam scores  or specific course work.
