Modern Languages courses develop listening, reading, and writing skills of the learning of languages other than English. Spanish, Portuguese, French and Arabic are some of the most widely spoken languages in the world. This program is useful for both the new and heritage speaker.
The two year program is designed to meet the requirements of an Associate of Arts in Modern Languages from CNM and prepare a student to obtain a Bachelor of Arts at the University of New Mexico or New Mexico State University. It is the student’s responsibility to contact the four year transfer school to confirm specific admission and degree requirements.
