Description

This program is specifically designed to prepare students as Information Systems Security (INFOSEC) Professionals. Our courses meet the NSTISSI No. 4011 and CNSSI No. 4016 Entry Level Risk Analysts requirements as well as provide current Information Systems (IS) professionals with an IS security certification to meet the needs of current and future employer requirements. Upon successful completion of this program students will receive a CNM Certificate of Completion which meets numerous government security training requirements. Students will also be prepared and encouraged to take the CompTIA Security+ test during the program to receive the industry certification.

In order to enroll in this program, the student needs to have an Associate degree or higher in a technical field such as Computer Networking, Systems Engineering, Information Systems. Department approval required.

Students will have met the requirements for the Information Systems Security (INFOSEC) Professional, NSTISSI No. 4011 and Risk Analysts, CNSSI No.4016 Entry Level upon successful completion of this program. The cyber-security field is one of the fastest growing segments in the Information Technology field, with career paths as security analyst, systems analyst and network security support specialist.
