This program is specifically designed to prepare students as Information Systems Security (INFOSEC) Professionals. Our courses meet the NSTISSI No. 4011 and CNSSI No. 4016 Entry Level Risk Analysts requirements as well as provide current Information Systems (IS) professionals with an IS security certification to meet the needs of current and future employer requirements. Upon successful completion of this program students will receive a CNM Certificate of Completion which meets numerous government security training requirements. Students will also be prepared and encouraged to take the CompTIA Security+ test during the program to receive the industry certification.
In order to enroll in this program, the student needs to have an Associates degree or higher in a technical field such as Computer Networking, Systems Engineering, Information Systems. Department approval required

The cyber-security field is one of the fastest growing segments in the Information Technology field. Due to the size of this job market and its growth potential we feel that students and professionals will benefit from a cyber-security program. We are proposing the creation of a cyber-security post degree certification program. This program will provide students at CNM with the skills that are needed in the cyber-security field. In addition, it will also offer an industry certification in security.
