The School of Applied Technologies (AT) includes students, industry partners and skilled teaching professionals, coming together in an environment of, relevant applied learning. Our aim is to enable students to gain the technical knowledge and skills to further their career, educational, and personal goals.
AT offers 31 Certificate programs and 17 Degree progams at an affordable cost . There is a wide range of programs available to choose from; for example, you can learn to build a house, program a robot, drive a truck or create blue prints.
Students who have questions on course prerequisites, course transferability (to or from CNM) or general program questions are encouraged to consult with the school’s Academic Advisor. Challenge examinations or credit based on prior work experience are also available for some courses.
Most programs require basic hand tools. Tool lists with approximate costs and purchase deadlines are provided by instructors at the beginning of each term. Students are encouraged to participate in nationally recognized student organizations such as SKILLS USA whose activities are an integral part of the curriculum. Students working toward a degree or certificate must earn a grade of C or better in all career and technical courses to meet school completion and/or graduation requirements.
