1credit hour(s)Corequisite:MATH 1220 College Algebra Support Lab provides review and support for the skills needed to succeed in MATH 1220 College Algebra. Students will practice prerequisite topics for college algebra, review and practice college algebra topics in preparation for assessments, and develop study- and test-taking skills. Topics covered include linear and quadratic functions, and polynomial, absolute value, rational, radical, exponential, and logarithmic functions. A development of strategies for solving single-variable equations and contextual problems.

For many students, this support lab will require little to no homework beyond what is required for MATH 1220.
This support lab must be taken during the same term and part of term as MATH 1220.
This support lab is an optional corequisite for students who place directly into MATH 1220.
