3credit hour(s)Prerequisite:ENGT 1010 This course builds upon the concepts introduced in Methods in Engineering Tech I, providing students with hands-on experience in the Class 1000 Manufacturing Training and Technology Center’s cleanroom. Through practical exercises, students will learn how engineers and technologists operate in cleanroom environments while following chemical safety best practices. They will explore the semiconductor wafer manufacturing process, gaining insights into how wafers are fabricated and transformed into integrated circuits used across various industries. Additionally, students will develop problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills as they navigate the micro/nano-electronic manufacturing workflow, emphasizing timely product and task completion in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and checklist protocols.
