4credit hour(s)Prerequisite:CSCI 1710 This intermediate hands-on course further presents the principles of quantum computing, covering qubits, superposition, entanglement, and quantum gates. Students will implement key algorithms such as Shor’s, Grover’s, and the Deutsch–Jozsa algorithm, explore quantum machine learning and variational methods, and simulate quantum communication protocols like BB84 and teleportation. The course concludes with a capstone project, enabling students to design and present a quantum solution to a chosen problem.
