Skills practiced include patient assistance with activities of daily living, personal care, transfer and positioning, vital sign measurement, intake and output measurement, restorative care, and communication. Reinforces topics in preparation for state certification exams.
Note(s): Only individuals who have enrolled in an approved nursing assistant training program within the last 12 months are eligible to enroll and remain in this supplemental skills course. Proof of training is required. Please submit documents to the School of Nursing and Patient Support.
