Emphasis will be placed on the etiology, evolution, and electroencephalographic correlates of seizure disorders. The relationship between the underlying nature of disorders and their clinical manifestations will be addressed, with particular emphasis on the recognition of resultant EEG patterns. Diagnosis, prevention, and treatment options will be discussed.
