2credit hour(s)Corequisite:RESP 2120 + RESP 2310 + RESP 2192L + RESP 2120L + RESP 2194L Presents pathophysiology and management of patients with pulmonary diseases from the perspective of a physician including causes, signs and symptoms, pathophysiology, diagnosis, treatments and prognosis for patients with these problems: chest trauma, ACLS, pneumothorax, pulmonary vascular disease, Cor Pulmonale, sepsis syndrome, EKG interpretation. Management of patients on mechanical ventilation regardless of diagnosis is also covered.
