DMSO 1130 - Sonographic Physics I

Pre- or corequisite: DMSO 1115  or CVS 1215  
Introduces the basic principles of acoustical physics including sound production, propagation, interactive properties of ultrasound with human tissues, basic ultrasound instrument operation, quality assurance testing, bioeffects and acoustic artifacts.
