3credit hour(s)Prerequisite:MECH 1031 Recommended:MECH 1101 This course prepares students to connect, configure, program, operate, adjust, tune, calibrate, troubleshoot and remedy faults in programmable logic controller (PLC) systems that use human machine interface (HMI) panels for industrial production monitoring along with discrete and analog input and output (I/O) devices for open and closed loop industrial process control applications.

Upon successful completion of this course the student will be prepared to pass the SACA C-208 Programmable Controller Troubleshooting 1 Certification Exam.
