2credit hour(s)Corequisite:RT 2460 + RT 2490 + RT 2492 + RT 2493 Presents pathophysiology and management of patients with pulmonary diseases from the perspective of a physician including causes, signs and symptoms, pathophysiology, diagnosis, treatments and prognosis for patients with these problems. Specific topics include infant and pediatric cardiac and respiratory disorders, cystic fibrosis, congestive heart failure, neuromuscular disease, traumatic injuries, burns, respiratory failure and adult/acute respiratory distress syndrome.
