3credit hour(s)Corequisite:ENDT 1540 + ENDT 2020 + ENDT 2030 + ENDT 2092 This clinical course provides practical EEG experience in the inpatient and intensive care setting. With supervision, students will assist and, skills-permitting, perform intermediate EEG recordings with all appropriate modifications, activations, and recording notations. Emphasis will be placed on active application of theoretical knowledge, exceptional patient care, infection control procedures, and collaborative interaction with other healthcare professionals. Students will assist in record review with preceptors and attendings for ongoing pattern recognition experience. Attendance and participation in weekly Neurology Department Grand Rounds and departmental EEG Seminars will be required.
