2credit hour(s)Pre- or corequisite:HMSV 2330 or HMSV 2340 This course provides the opportunity for students to explore human services professions in local community based agencies. Under supervision, students will experience how human services positively affect change for members of their communities and will gain understanding of professional skills, ethics, practice standards, and intervention models. Students will complete 45 hours of practical experience in an approved human services work or closely related setting.
