The experience focuses on the practice of skills related to the application of legal principles; the collection, storage, retention and analysis of health care data to develop insight, understanding and skill in medical record procedures. Emphasizes supervisory activities to further develop medical records knowledge and skills and develop critical thinking and problem solving skills in the areas of health information management. Also emphasizes professionalism in the workplace and RHIT exam preparation.
