3credit hour(s)Prerequisite:CM 1210 This course introduces the concepts of building energy use analysis, efficiency, management systems and industry developments related to mechanical and electrical building systems. HVAC system efficiencies, heat load variables, lighting efficiencies, management and automation, and common measurements of these systems will be introduced and practiced. Examination of plumbing systems in terms of water conservation will be discussed and analyzed using current facilities on campus.
