In addition, the course will expand significantly the number of medications a student can administer in an emergency setting as well as instruction on the theory of IV fluid resuscitation. Meets or exceeds the cognitive objectives of the National EMS Education Standards and incorporates the NM EMT- Intermediate Scope of Practice.
