3credit hour(s)Prerequisite:BCIS 1110 Examines the evolution of the Internet and how the interconnection of people, processes, data, and things is transforming every industry. This hands-on IoT course addresses the main stages of digitization including identifying and communicating a business or social problem and designing and connecting IoT devices to interact with the physical world. Students will develop high-demand skills such as creative problem-solving, critical thinking, collaboration and communication in hands-on lab and hackathon experiences.
