6credit hour(s)Prerequisite:ARCH 1109 The design studio sequence forms the core of architectural education. In this course the student will be introduced to fundamental issues of form, function, space, site and structure. The student will learn to develop meaningful relationships among and between these issues and the natural and built environment. Design exercises encourage exploration, discovery, analysis and synthesis of these important architectural relationships.
