2credit hour(s)Prerequisite:HSV 2115 This course provides the opportunity for students to explore the social work profession in local community based agencies. Under supervision, students will experience how social services positively affect change for members of their communities and will gain understanding of professional skills, ethics, practice standards, and intervention models. Students will complete 45 hours of practical experience in an approved social work or closely related setting.
