TLOL 1025 - Instructional Resources for Teaching Online

Student Learning Outcomes
  1. Identify and share online learning repositories, resources and educational websites.
  2. Evaluate online resources for validity, currency, accessibility, innovation, and applicability.
  3. Demonstrate the ability to use Blackboard tools to deploy appropriate online content, and justify the inclusion of online content.
  4. Align resources to course or module-level objectives.
  5. Review and discuss copyright and fair use issues related to online resources.
  6. Differentiate among levels of copyright protections and permissions, and provide examples of appropriate citations.

Course Description
Intended for higher education faculty or public school teachers using online instructional resources. The course will focus on locating, evaluating, implementing and properly citing online resources in accordance with copyright and fair use regulations. The course will emphasize best practices for online teaching and learning.
