LEA 1004 - Domestic Violence: From the Crime Scene to the Courtroom
Student Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course the student will:

Demonstrate the requisite knowledge, skills, and job performance requirements outlined in the currently adopted version of the New Mexico Law Enforcement Academy Basic Police Officer Training Curriculum Block 11.
Demonstrate the requisite knowledge, skills, and job performance requirements outlined in the currently adopted version of the New Mexico Law Enforcement Academy Basic Police Officer Training Curriculum Block 13.
Course Description Students will be instructed in the causes and impact of domestic violence and utilize knowledge gained through practical application to respond appropriately to resolve domestic violence situations, write accurate reports and present in a court of law. Credits: 3
