Course Description This course introduces students to a wide range of non-ferrous casting techniques. Sand Casting, cuttle-fish casting, centrifugal casting, vacuum casting and experimental casting may be covered. Students will learn to carve waxes and cast non-wax objects. Students will create sprue trees, invest waxes, schedule/program kiln burn-outs and participate in pouring their castings.
