ESH 1020 - Introduction to Renewable/Alternative Energy

3 credit hour(s)
This course aims to introduce, and analyze a variety of renewable energy resources/technologies– including solar, wind, biofuels, Hydrogen and geothermal. The course will attempt to place renewable energy in the context of current world energy policies and technologies. Students will learn how to evaluate renewable energy resources and the economic cases, market conditions, and environmental impacts–exploring the potential of each to contribute to current energy needs.
