This course meets the requirements of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1001 Standard for Firefighter Professional Qualifications. Students must pass both a written and practical state-mandated exam. Upon successful completion of both exams students will be awarded an IFSAC certificate that indicates he/she is a nationally certified Firefighter I. Note(s) (45 theory + 90 lab hours per term)
